Your English speaking tour guide will pick you up at 8:30am. Then your tour will start with the visit of the Xining Mosque. It is the largest and the best preserved mosque in Xining. It is one of the four biggest mosques in Northwest China. The Mosque has been built about 900 years from now on. After several reconstruction, It forming what it is today. There are more than 7000 people in here every day. There is a buddhism College in the mosque. It is the highest institution of Qinghai Islam.
Then you will have a lunch in the local restaurant, then you will heading to Ta’er Monastery .
Ta’er Monastery is the birth place of the founder of the Yellow Sect (also called Gelu Sect) Tsong Khapa. In the Tibetan language, Ta’er Monastery is called “gongben” which means 100, 000 figures of Buddha. You can appreciate the famous butter sculptures, the barbolas, and the murals.
After your tour ,you will be dropped off in your hotel in Xining.
