Wang Family Courtyard and Shuanglin Temple Pingyao Day Trips

Our guide and driver will meet you at your hotel at 08:30am.Then drive to Wang family courtyard. It will spend 50 minutes on the way .We will spend 1.5 hours to see, then 50 minutes drive to Shuangling temple. We will spend 1 hour to visit the temple.Then 20 minutes back to Pingyao or drop off you at the Pingyaogucheng station.The whole tour will need about 6hours.

-Wang family courtyard
It is a luxurious residence built during 1762-1811 by the descendants of the Wang Family, one of the Four Families of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) in Shanxi Province.The compound occupies a total area of 150,000 square meters (about 179,399 square yards), of which 45,000 square meters (about 53,820 square yards) has been declares as a provincial protective cultural relic.
-Shuanglin Temple
It houses more than 2,000 colorful sculptures reflecting the exquisite skills of the artisans of the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. In 1997, it was included in the World Heritage List by UNESCO as an important cultural site of Ping Yao City in 1997.
