Mount Lao
After the pick-up at your hotel in Qindao you will first visit Mount Lao, the only mountain in China located on the coast with the highest peak at 1,113 meters above sea level. Facing the Yellow Sea, it is one of China’s major scenic resorts and has long held the reputation of most famous mountain on the sea. It is also a famous Taoist mountain featuring both mountainous and coastal views.

Then explore Taiqing Palace, the largest, oldest, and most valuable of the temples on Mount Lao. In its prime time, there used to be 9 great palaces, 9 great temples, and 72 nunneries on Mount Lao. The most well preserved one is Taiqing Palace. The palace holds about 140 rooms and halls with the most famous Three God’s Hall, Three Purities’ Hall, and Three Emperor’s Hall. The palace was first constructed during the reign of the first Emperor of the Northern Song Dynasty (960–1127) about 1,000 years ago.

Tsingtao Beer Museum
After lunch, make a trip to the Tsingtao Beer Museum. Built in August 2003, the 6,000-square-meter museum brings the beer’s century-old history and culture to life by showing sugaring workshops, raw materials, traditional fermentation, new filter plants, and packaging workouts and brewing labs. Zhanqiao Pier
You will then visit Zhan Qiao pier. Built as a naval pier in 1891, the Zhan Qiao Pier is now the symbol of the Qingdao. It is 440 meters long reaching into Qingdao Bay. At the southern end of it, there is a traditional 2-story pavilion. It is an ideal place to enjoy the sea view
