7 Days Dali Lijiang Tour A

Day 1 Arrive in Kunming
Airport pickup and transfer to hotel. Our guide will wait you at the exit of the airport, holding a paper sign with your name on for you to recognize. Flight not included.

Day 2 Kunming (B, L)
Visit the Stone Forest scenic area, fantastic karst landscape located 90 km southeast of Kunming. It is also the home of Sani people, whose colorful minority culture will leave you a deep impression. Then drop by the Kunming Hand Workshop near the Yangzong Lake, which sells embroidery clothes, wall carpet and some ethnic style embroidery hand crafts.

Day 3 Kunming-Dali (B, L)
Hotel to airport transfer; fly to Dali. Upon arrival, be picked up by local guide and then start our exploration in Dali. Visit the Houses of Bai People in Xizhou Town which is 16 km away from Dali Old Town, the ancient Three Pagodas, considered the landmark of Dali, the Houses of Bai People in Zhoucheng Town, and the Tie-dye Family Workshop in Zhoucheng, which displays the Bai people’s traditional handicraft.

Day 4 Dali-Lijiang (B, L)
Morning visit the Agricultural Trade Market which makes a picture of Bai people’s daily life. Then take a cruise on the beautiful ear-shaped Erhai Lake.
Drive to Lijiang. You are going to roam in the Lijiang Old Town, an UNESCO Heritage Site with long history and well-preserved minority culture. Move on to the Lijiang Museum, which showcases the artifacts and arts of the old town.

Day 5 Lijiang (B, L)
Today’s tours include Baisha Murals at Baisha Village, the Black Dragon Pool, and Shuhe Ancient Town. The Baisha Murals, painted over a thousand years ago, displays the life stories of the Tibet Buddhism, Confucian and Taoism. The Black Dragon Pool is a famous pool of China for its beauty. The peaceful Shuhe Ancient Town, or Longquan Village, is home to one of the ethnic groups of China.

Day 6 Lijiang (B, L)
Come to visit the famous Jade Dragon Mountain scenic spot. The mountain is snowcapped year round and displays amazing natural scenery. The cable car will take you up to a height of 4506 meters on the mountain. Then head to the Yufengsi Lamasery/Jade Summit Lamasery, built in the Qing Dynasty and famous for a 500-year old camellia tree planted in the temple.

Day 7 Lijiang-Kunming
Pick up from hotel and transfer to airport; fly back to Kunming from Lijiang. Flight included. End
