Day 1 Arrival in KunmingStone ForestUpon your arrival in Kunming, our guide will greet you at the exit of the Arrival Hall of the airport and escort you to check in at the hotel we booked for you. After a short break, we will start this fantastic Kunming to Lijiang tour itinerary at the bustling Flowers and Birds Market to enjoy the lovely flowers, birds, fishes, featured handicrafts, etc.
Then we proceed to Green Lake Park. Encircled by verdant plants and ponds, the park is known as an “emerald of the town”. When visiting in fall/winter, you may see a flock of red-mouth gulls assembling in the park to spend the winter. After that, our guide and driver will escort you back to the hotel.

Day 2 KunmingBlack Dragon Pool, LijiangContinuing our private Kunming tour package, we will head to Zhuanxin Farmers’ Market, which has been a “paradise for food lovers” since ancient times. It is the biggest market with a variety of raw and cooked foods, desserts, flowers as well as daily necessities sold by local residents. If you are interested, you can taste the local cuisine and buy a bunch of fresh flowers there.Today’s highlight, Stone Forest, is our afternoon excursion. As a karst geological park, the Stone Forest has preserved multiple karst rock shapes in which the sword-like, column-like, mushroom-like and tower-like limestone pillars are typical representatives. Accompanied by our guide, you will be enchanted by the fancy and beautiful rocks. Then, we take you to the hotel where you can have a good rest.

Day 3 Kunming – LijiangLijiang Old TownToday you will take a morning bullet train with a duration of about 3 hours to Lijiang. Upon arrival, our guide will pick you up and then escort you to Black Dragon Pool Park, the first destination of today’s private Kunming to Lijiang tour. Walking in the park, you can admire the Black Dragon Pool with the reflection of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. We will visit the Dongba Cultural Museum inside the park. By viewing the pictures and exhibits, you will learn about Dongba culture of the ancient Naxi nationality. After the whole day’s Lijiang exploration, our guide will help you check in at a hotel in Lijiang Old Town.Meals: Western buffet breakfast, Lunch
Day 4 LijiangTiger Leaping GorgeToday we will be hiking. After a hearty breakfast, our guide and driver will transfer you to Tiger Leaping Gorge. En route, we will stop at Shigu Town where you can view the First Bend of the Yangtze River. You will see the river is smooth like a mirror with green hills as well as neatly arranged farmlands and villages on both sides.After lunch, we will proceed to Tiger Leaping Gorge. It is divided into upper, middle and lower sections, with a total length of about 20 km (12 miles). Our guide will lead you on a hike to a section where you can admire the magnificent sceneries. Then you will be driven back to the hotel.

Day 5 Departure from LijiangAfter breakfast, we will pay a visit to Baisha Village, an old village in Lijiang. It is the first living region of Naxi Minority, consisting of an ancient street and several residences in Naxi style. Strolling along the street, you can relax in a café and catch a closeup sight of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. In addition, you will have chance to visit a local Naxi family and learn about the Dongba culture from the renowned Baisha Murals.Your guided Lijiang exploration tour concludes today. Our guide and driver will escort you to the airport for your homebound flight and see you off.
