Day 1 Arrival in Xi’an: Shaanxi History Museum – Bell Tower (Lunch)
Upon your arrival in Xi’an, our local tour guide will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel for checking in and a brief rest. After lunch, hop on the car and start exploring Xi’an.
Your first stop is the Shaanxi History Museum, which is acquainted with its rich cultural history. In front of you are over 300,000 artifacts from prehistorical times to modern times. They are all well preserved and clearly labeled in both Chinese and English. (Visit: about 1.5hours)
Then turn to the Bell Tower, which is the center of the old town. Dating back to 1384 A.D., the Bell Tower is a representative Ming Dynasty architecture with gorgeous building style. Ascending the tower, you may see a big bell from which the tower got its name, and you can also hold the city overview into your eyes in all directions. You may also watch an Imitated Chime Bells Performance if you are lucky enought. (Visit: about 1 hour)
Day 2 Xi’an: Terracotta Warriors – Small Wild Goose Pagoda – Learning Make Dumplings – Tang Dynasty Show (Breakfast, Lunch)
Enjoy your breakfast, and then start to visit the top must-see of Xi’an – The Terracotta Warriors, World’s 8th Wonder. Imagine how amazing it will be when facing thousands of terracotta soldiers here! (Visit: 2-2.5 hours)
After lunch, move to the peaceful Small Wild Goose Pagoda, one of the two cultural pagodas in Xi’an and is full of quaintness. The park surrounding the pagoda is lovely and is a wonderful place to stroll, relax and explore. (Visit: about 1 hour)
Then let’s learn to make Chinese dumplings (Jiaozi) with your own hands! It’s a tradition of the Chinese family to make dumplings together. Dumpling symbolizes wealth due to its shape which is similar to ancient Chinese gold or silver ingots, and thus making and eating dumplings is a wish for getting richer. This evening is surely brilliant – a dumpling feast is waiting for you together with a grand and gorgeous Tang Dynasty Performance with traditional Chinese music. Enjoy it!
Day 3 Xi’an: Cycling on Ancient City Wall – Great Mosque & Muslim Quarter – Shadow Play(Gao’s Courtyard) – Departure (Breakfast, Lunch)
