Day 1 Wutaishan Arrival from Taiyuan
Today, our tour guide will meet you at airport or train station of Taiyuan. Then you’ll drove over 3 hours to Wutaishan, Buddhist holy mountain. The rest of day is free at leisure. Stay overnight at Wutaishan.

Day 2 Wutaishan ( B, L )
Today you’ll enjoy a whole day Buddhism Cultural exploration to Mount Wutai, a World Heritage site. With kinds of temples gathering, Xiantong Temple, as the largest and oldest and left many cultural relics tracing back to Qing dynasty; Tayuan Temple is famous for a white pagoda- the landmark of Mount Wutai, worth to see; Pusa Ding, the only one monastery of Gelugpa sect brings more Buddhist features. If you have religious belief, make some wishes when walking around these temples, maybe someday, you will be surprised.

Besides that, with different building structures vary in different temples, you can experience kinds of architectural styles, presenting each own status.

After that, go for visit the Dailuo Ding where enshrines five different statues of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva. With 1080 steps, you can climb to the top or take cableway to summit. When you standing at the top, the whole Taihuai temples are in your eyes.

Stay overnight at Wutaishan hotel.

Day 3 Wutaishan to Taiyuan Departure ( B )
Today, you will head for Foguang Temple and Nanchan Temple, having the longest history amongst the temples in the mountain, both built in Tang Dynasty. Featuring well-preserved wooden architecture, you will find many Buddha cultural relics and sculpture in these temples.

After that, you’ll be taken back to Taiyuan airport or train station to catch your next destination. Services end.
