Shanghai Suzhou One Day Private Tour

Your tour guide will Pick you up from your hotel around 8:00am. Full day side trip to Suzhou. Sightseeing includes Humble Administrator’s Garden, Ancient City Wall and Grand Canal Cruise Tour, and Tiger Hill. After the tour, transferred back to your hotel in Shanghai.

Suzhou is famous for its the gardens which reflect the profound metaphysical importance of natural beauty in Chinese culture in their meticulous design. Listed in World Heritage 1977.

Administrator”s Garden is the largest of all classical gardens in Suzhou.

Suzhou is also a city of canals dubbed the “Venice of the East”. The canal cruise takes about one hour within the city.

Tiger Hill and Leaning Pagoda are here in memory of He Lu, the founder of the city who died in the 6th century. It is said that He Lu was buried with 3000 swords but his tomb has never been discovered. All the workers who slaved to build the hill and the pagoda were murdered when the work was finished to keep them disclosing the location of the tomb. It is said that the hill is guarded by a white tiger.

Suzhou is known for silk, and there is one stop on the tour route: a Silk Factory. Workers making silk threads from cocoons. the filaments from many cocoons are merged to form a single thread.
