Private Lanzhou Highlight Day Tour

Your tour guide and private car will pick you up from your downtown hotel in Lanzhou at 8:30am,your first stop is Gansu Provincial Museum. There are nearly 100,000 relics in the museum, ranging from historical, modern and national relics. including vessels, agricultural tools, painted pottery bowls, and excavations from the Silk Road of the Han and Tang periods.

Move on to Yellow River Mother Sculpture, which is situated at the south bank of Yellow River weighting more than 40 tons.Continue to visit Waterwheel Garden. It was first built by Duan Xu in the Ming Dynasty and used for irrigation of the farming fields along the Yellow River.

Next, Walk to Zhongshan Iron Bridge which is popularly known as “Iron Bridge”.The construction of the iron bridge was finished in 1907 in Qing Dynasty (1644 – 1911 ).

Enjoy a delicious lunch in the local restaurant, head to Lanzhou Xiguan Mosque because the mosque was built using donations from Silk Road traders.

Head to Lanzhou Antique Market. This massive market gathers all kinds of ancient arts and crafts, Chinese Painting and Calligraphy and antiques collected.

Finally take a walk along Zhengye Road- one of the most famous pedestrian street in Lanzhou. This commercial road has a long history with rich cultural heritage dating back to Song Dynasty ( 960-1276 ).
