This 1-day tour gives everybody the opportunity to explore the world’s highest natural arch-Shipton’s Arch

Depart your hotel at 8am

Heading directly to the Shipton’s Arch .On the way you will driving passby many villages .It will take about 1.5 hours to arrive there .

Though long familiar to locals, it was famously visited in 1947 by English mountaineer Eric Shipton during his tenure as the British consul in Kashgar – and made known to the West in his book Mountains of Tartary. The arch once figured in the Guinness Book of Records for its exceptional height, but the editors of the book could not verify the location of the arch exactly, so the listing was dropped

Then your guide will accompany you to start hiking up to the Arch which takes about one hour or more according to your hiking speed. Here you can spend some time to enjoy the surrounding area

Lunch in the local restaurant in a village

Then heading back to Karshgar city, drop you off at your hotel

It’s a heavy day with a lot of walking. So be sure to wear comfortable shoes and have a good sleep the day before
