3 Days Wuyishan Essence Tour
Day 1 Arrival in Wuyishan City
Today’s Activities
Upon setting foot in Wuyishan City, you will be greeted by our local tour guide at the airport or train station, and then be escorted to your hotel for checking in. Today is free for your own arrangement. You can take a good rest at your hotel, or have a stroll around and get a first peek of the city.
The city was named after its major mountain – Wuyishan (Mt. Wuyi), a World Cultural & Natural Heritage recognized by UNESCO. Wuyishan Mountain is one of the most outstanding subtropical forests in the world, known for its jade-like rivers and Danxia landform, and it’s also the cradle of Neo-Confucianism.
Day 2 Wuyishan (Breakfast,Lunch)
Today’s Activities
After enjoy a buffet breakfast, you will be picked up at your hotel and set out for a full-day exploration of Wuyishan National Resort. To hold the elegance and beauty of Wuyishan at one time, take a relaxing bamboo raft drifting following the bends of Jiuqu Xi (Nine-Bend River), one of the highlights of the Mountain. The cruise takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes. Following is a visit to Wuyi Palace, the oldest palace on Wuyishan with over 1,000 years’ history. A 300-meter-long Song Dynasty Street running south to north is one feature of the Wuyi Palace, displaying the architectural characteristics of Song Dynasty (A.D. 960-1279). Tea, bamboo and ancient culture are what you can found & enjoy here.
After lunch, head for the summit of Wuyishan – Tianyou Peak (Heavenly Tour Peak) where you will hold a bird’s eye view of Wuyishan Resort. Feel the fresh air and savor the splendid landscape of Wuyishan. Afterwards, take a tour to the wonderful Yunwo (Clouds Nest) and Tea Cave.
Later the driver will take you back to the hotel. Dinner is for your own arrangement.
Day 3 Wuyishan (Breakfast,Lunch)
Today’s Activities
After breakfast, you will set out for the Dahongpao Tourist Zone for a taste of the best quality oolong tea and learn some knowledge of the tea culture of Fujian. Lunch is a special Mt. Wuyi Mr. Wengong Cuisine reserved at a local restaurant.
The rest of the day is at your own hand to explore the charm of Wuyishan. Later you are transferred to the airport/ train station for your onward flight/train. Wish you a good journey.
