Day 1 Arrive in Hangzhou ( Lunch )
Today’s Activities Upon arrival, you are picked up and transferred to hotel for check-in. Then go for a visit to one of China’s largest and wealthiest Buddhist temples – Lingyin Temple, also called Temple of Soul’s Retreat, housing a large number of grottos and religious rock carvings.
Enjoy your lunch at 12:30, then board a vessel to cruise across West Lake, Hangzhou’s most famous attraction with many impressive sights such as Three Pools Mirroring the Moon, Bai and Su Causeways and Solitary Hill, endowed with dazzling natural beauty and colorful historical and cultural meanings.
Later tour Flower Harbor Park, right next to Su Causeway, housing many of Hangzhou’s most well-known spots including Red Carp Pond and Peony Garden. Drive back to the hotel about 4:30pm.
Day 2 Hangzhou – Yiwu ( Breakfast, Lunch ) Transfer by vehicle
Today’s Activities Enjoy your leisure morning time by a visit to Xixi National Wetland Park from 9:00am, where you can appreciate distinctive wetland scenery, abundant cultural heritage, silkworm feeding and silk production in water village, if possible, you can even witness a traditional Dragon Boat Contest.
You are served a delicious lunch at 1:00pm, and then at 2:30pm transfer to Dragon Well Tea Village, housing a plantation of Dragon Well tea, one of China’s most famous types of tea. In addition to a tour of the grounds and the museum, you can also catch a glimpse of a traditional Chinese tea ceremony.
At 4:00pm, take a stroll along Hefang Ancient Street, a bustling commerce center since the Song Dynasty. You can pick up some souvenirs and snacks before taking the bus to Yiwu.
Day 3 Yiwu – Hangzhou Departure ( Breakfast )
Today’s Activities As a regional tourist destination, Yiwu is famous for its small commodity trade and vibrant free markets. Fit in an interesting tour to discover the distinctive market in the city from 9:00am. The International Trade Mart (Futian market) is the main one and the biggest, covering an area of 4 million square meters, with 62,000 booths inside. 100,000 suppliers exhibit 400,000 kinds of products almost every day from 9 am to 5 pm (except the holidays of Chinese Spring Festival). It is more like a permanent fair instead of a traditional wholesale market. Afterwards, you are escorted back to Hangzhou for your next destination.
