After breakfast, have an excursion to the Mutianyu Great Wall, a symbol of Chinese civilization. After lunch, go on with the visit to Dingling, one of the Ming Tombs, where 13 emperors were buried in Ming Dynasty. Peking Duck dinner and Peking Opera Show in the evening.

After breakfast, transferred to the airport for your flight to Chengdu. Arrival at Chengdu Airport, met by our local English speaking tour guide and transferred to our designated hotel in downtown Chengdu.
After dinner, you are escorted to visit Kuanzhai Alley. Kuanzhai Alley literally means “Wide and Narrow Alleys” (Kuan Zhai Xiang Zi). Here they particularly referred to the two famous lanes in Chengdu – Kuan Alley (wide lane) and Zhai Ally ( narrow Lane). Both Kuan Alley and Zhai Alley (Kuan Zhai Xiang Zi) are the gentrified ancient alleys from Qing Dynasty ( 1644 -1911 ) in Chengdu. Back to your hotel.

Pick up from your hotel in Chengdu early in the morning and drive to Chengdu Panda Base. Chengdu Panda Breeding and Research Centre has been constructed and imitated the pandas’ natural habitat in the hope that they could have the best possible environment for rearing and breeding. There you can see pandas almost in their natural environment as they have plenty of space around them. They are incredibly cute to watch. They spend most of their day eating bamboo.
After lunch, head to Leshan and visit Leshan Giant Buddha. It is approximately 160km in the southwest of Chengdu. The drive takes about 2 hours. You are taken to Leshan Port and board a boat cruising near the highest Buddha in the world on the huge rock of the hill carved in Tang Dynasty for suppressing the flood. you are able to take some pictures in front of the huge sculpture. Then cruise back to the port and return to Chengdu.

After breakfast at your hotel and transferred to the airport for your flight to Lhasa. Met by your Tibetan guide and transferred to your hotel in Lhasa to be acclimatized to the high altitude.

After breakfast, first visit the Jokhang Temple. The Jokhang Temple was first built by King Songtsem Gampo (617 – 650). He was the 33rd king of Tibet. Walking around the Jokhang Temple is said that it can bring prosperity and peace to one’s whole life. Most of them come from the remote villages or mountainous areas.
Then move on to the bazaar of the Barkhor Street. The Barkhor is the oldest street in Lhasa as well as the center of old Lhasa and remains very traditional. It is a place where Tibetan culture, economy, religion and arts are assembled.
After lunch, continue to visit the Potala Palace. The Potala Palace is built on the high land uplifting of the flat land. The palace climbing was a tough job! The palace is 115.703 meters high. People have to walked step by step to the top. The Potala Palace was built at the time of Songtsan Ganmpo in the 7th century. Return to your hotel in Lhasa.

After breakfast, head to the west of Lhasa city to visit the Norbulingka Park. It once served as the summer palace for Dalai lamas from 7th Dalai Lama who first built the palace. Each summer time, Dalai lama would come here to handle political affairs.
Then visit the Tibet Museum. It is a Tibetan structure museum. It has three exhibition floors. It has abundant historical relics and treasures including prehistoric culture, united culture, culture and art, customs. After lunch, visit the Sera Monastery. Sera is most famous for lamas debating activity each afternoon from 3:000pm. The Sera Monastery is dedicated to the Gelugpa or Yellow Hat Sect, a branch of Tibetan Buddhism, founded by Tsong Khapa. Transferred back to your hotel in Lhasa.

Pick up from your hotel in Shanghai. First come to People’s Square in the city center. There are a huge green area and trees, encircled by various kinds of buildings on all sides. All of these buildings make up a beautiful view.
Then walk to the Nanjing Pedestrian Road. It is regarded as the first commercial street in Shanghai. It was first built in 1851. Now Nanjing Road has turned into the number one site for shopping in the city.
Wander from the eastern end of Nanjing Road to the Bund.The Bund now surrounded by about 50 various buildings of different architectural styles including Gothic, Baroque, Romanesque, Classicism and the Renaissance.
Move on to Shanghai Bazaar and Yu Yuan Garden. Yuyuan is the most famous garden in Shanghai. It is located in the heart of Shanghai’s Old City (Shanghai bazaar), one of the few existant old tourist places in Shanghai.
After lunch, continue to visit the new development zone in Pudong – Lujiazui, which is teemed with the futuristic, avant-garde buildings – Oriental Pearl Tower, Jin Mao Building, Bank of China Tower. Taking the elevator to the 88-storey Observation Deck of Jinmao Tower to have a bird’s eye view of Huangpu River.
After descending Jinmao Tower, drive back to your hotel.

After breakfast and have a half day tour of exploring the charming water town by boat. Zhujiajiao is an ancient water town also known as the Shanghai’s Venice. Zhujiajiao is full of the old buildings combined with the water canals, really authentic water village which represent the old Shanghai.
A boat trip down the river and then walk through the small shopping streets, cross the amazing bridges, visit the beautifully laid out gardens and old houses. There are great opportunity for some great photographs. After lunch, back to your hotel.
