You will admire the Ancient City Wall built with bricks and stones. Approach to Rishengchang Bank – the first bank of China, and get impressed by the Old Government Buildings. The courtyard houses, narrow streets and small shops in the city provide a complete picture of China’s cultural and social lifestyle during that period of time.

Day 3 Qikou – Pingyao (by automobile)

Qikou Ancient Town
The Qikou Ancient Town used to be a prosperous transportation hub and major commercial center, but now has been listed as one of the endangered cultural sites by World Monuments Fund. The Lijiashan, a 550-year-old village, is a dream place for travelers to experience Shanxi’s cave houses.
