Private 3-Day Zhangjiajie Tour

This 3-day tour gives everybody the opportunity to explore Zhangjiajie. The highlights include Zhangjiajie National Forest Park,Yuanjiajie Scenic Area.

Day 1  Zhangjiajie Arrival (no meal)

Our tour guide will pick you up at the airport or train station of Zhangjiajie at confirmed time, holding a sign with your name on it at the arrival terminal or exit. Be transferred to your hotel.

Day 2  Zhangjiajie Forest Park (Breakfast+Lunch+Dinner)

Pick up from the hotel in the morning. Full day trip to visit the famous Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.It is located in the southern part of the Wulingyuan Scenic Zone. The several thousand mountain peaks of quartz rise abruptly from the ground. Streams flow through the Jinbian (Gold Whip) Stream Grand Canyon which is flanked by sheer cliffs. The sightseeing platform at Huangshi Village is shrouded in mist. Wild animals (especially the macaque monkeys) play freely in the primeval forests. The scenic zone is like a fairy land with the beauty of wild nature.

Day 3  Zhangjiajie (Breakfast+Lunch)

Pick you up from your hotel lobby and head for Tianzi Mountain Cable Car Station. Take a cable car up to the mountain and in the meantime you can enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Then walk along the mountain path to enjoy the scenery and the tour guide will give you more information about the attractions. Waterfalls, bridges, stone forests and caves are found throughout the mountains. Tianzi Mountain is known for 4 natural spectacles – the clouds of mist that circle the peaks of the mountain, the amazing views of the rising sun, the moonlit nights and snowcapped winter peaks. Visit the attractions nearby, such as Helong Park, Junsheng Painting Studio.

Then take a shuttle bus to Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, the core of Wulingyuan World Heritage, which is a mysterious, magic and primitive place. Here you will see the First Bridge, which is a natural bridge connecting two mountains together. Most of all, you will see the Hallelujah Mountain(Qiankun Column), the prototype of the floating Hallelujah Mountain in the Hollywood blockbuster Avatar. When clouds and mists rise, you may feel like standing in a fairyland. Go down the mountain by Bailong Elevator (Hundred Dragons Elevator). It is claimed to be the highest outdoor elevator with the largest carrying capacity in the world and is recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records.

You will be transferred to the airport after the tour.

It’s a heavy day with a lot of walking. So be sure to wear comfortable shoes and have a good sleep the day before

‘The quotated price is for a tour between 8 hours,additional hours are billed $15  per hour  for the guide and $15 per hour for the driver.
